Stellar Affinity Character Roster

The Stellar Affinity roster grows through gacha pulls, story unlocks, and event rewards. After the 29 July 2026 EROLABS launch, newbie targeted recruit and login pull campaigns (~200) accelerate acquisition — which makes archetype literacy more important, not less. Instead of memorizing every name on day one, learn jobs so each new girl slots into your plan immediately.

Cross-check combat roles with the tier list and emotional priorities from Hime Bonds / Cumpanions.

Core archetypes

ArchetypeJob in a squadRaise when…
Burst DPSDeletes elites / bossesStages stall on tanky targets
Wave clearSpeeds trash packsPlanet routes feel slow
Support / bufferAmplifies carryYou already own a strong DPS
Sustain / healerStabilizes longer fightsYou die to attrition
Bond catalystAccelerates affection loopsYour ship energy lags
Idle batteryImproves offline / auto valueYou lean on combat & idle

Evaluation checklist for new characters

When a banner drops in current events:

  1. What archetype does she fill in best teams?
  2. Does she need rare divine artifacts to function?
  3. Is her bond story worth early gifts during carnival or bonus windows?
  4. Does she replace someone already eating progression mats?
  5. Is she the right newbie recruit target, or a week-two luxury (gacha & summon)?

Collection vs efficiency

Marketing sells a flowing harem without fixed constraints. Collection is part of the fantasy, but account power still wants a focused core of roughly 4–8 deeply raised girls. Keep favorites for bond content; spend scarce upgrade materials — including ~5000 fragment-style launch fuel and story free-core mats — on the carry path. Map sinks on currencies.

Acquisition channels (not all are codes)

ChannelNotes
Newbie targeted recruitChoose one dream carry early
Login / carnival ticketsBank until target locked (beginner week)
Story free core → 6★Push docks (planet walkthrough)
Event shopsOften unique shards — current events
Gift codesSparse; active codes — mail ≠ code box
Launch mailFragments / CBT diamond returns — launch rewards

A clean roster mental model makes every pull, code reward, and event shop purchase easier to evaluate.

Building a living roster sheet

Keep a simple three-column note: Name / Archetype / Investment. Investment values: Core, Flex, Bond-only, Bench. Update it when current events add a girl or when patch notes change a kit. The bond checklist should only include Core + Flex.

When carnival missions ask you to raise “any” affection, still pick from Core. “Any” is how binders become swamps. The same discipline applies when login pulls (~200 campaign) drop unexpected shards — park them as Bond-only until the girl earns a Flex promotion through actual clears in combat & idle.

Language packs and naming

EROLABS clients may show English marketing names, Korean 성간의 유대 UI strings, or Chinese promotional labels (星慾姬絆 ecosystem posts). If a guide uses a different romanization, match portraits and skill icons, not only spelling. Roster mistakes from name drift waste more tickets than bad luck.

Role conflicts and double-duty girls

Some recruits advertise two jobs on the loading tip — wave clear and bond catalyst, burst and sustain. Believe the kit after a real dock, not the tip. If a girl needs three exclusive artifacts to perform both jobs, pick one job for your account and stop chasing the fantasy dual role. Your team builds seats are finite; your fragment mail is not infinite once carnival ends.

When patch notes retune a hybrid, re-run the evaluation checklist instead of rage-pulling her replacement the same night.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where is the full name list?

Names expand with patches. Use archetypes here plus the [tier list](/characters/tier-list/) for priority.

Are story-only girls viable?

Often as bond catalysts or early fillers — verify kits before heavy investment.

How many characters should I main?

A small core of 4–8 raised deeply usually beats a flat roster.

Do costumes change kits?

Treat cosmetics as separate from combat unless [patch notes](/events/patch-notes/) say otherwise.

Should bond catalysts be high tier?

Not always. If energy income is your bottleneck, a catalyst can outrank a flashy DPS you never gift — see [Hime Bonds](/guides/hime-bonds/).
