Equip the modules that actually reverse battles.

Stellar Affinity Divine Artifacts

Divine artifacts are the tangible form of the ship’s love-powered energy in Stellar Affinity. Official marketing promises transformations that reverse battle situations — in practice, that means slotting the right module on the right girl at the right time. After the 29 July 2026 EROLABS launch, fragment fuel (~5000 碎星 mail) and carnival crafts make it tempting to sprinkle upgrades everywhere. Do not.

Equip order

  1. Main carry from your team builds
  2. Primary support
  3. Farm specialists
  4. Everyone else

Never evenly distribute scarce upgrade materials. See progression. Story free-core → 6★ paths should align with the same carry who wears your best modules (gacha & summon).

Synergy with bonds and idle combat

Artifacts shine when energy income is healthy. If modules underperform, raise Hime Bonds and Cumpanions before blaming the gacha. Verify you are not starving stages of stamina via bad currency spends. Practice when to leave auto/idle and when to hand-play in combat & idle.

Farming and event shops

A mediocre roster with great artifacts often clears faster than a shiny roster with empty slots.

Craft path vs banner path

Craft path: farm mats on cleared docks, spend fragment fuel, enhance carry slots, test in a boss check. Banner path: spend diamonds on limited modules only when the craft path cannot supply a required effect family. Most early accounts should live on craft path until beginner week ends.

When an event shop sells a unique module, compare it to your carry’s empty slots before buying cosmetics. Unique + carry empty slot = buy. Unique + carry already finished + vanity itch = skip.

Bond-gated power spikes

If a tooltip mentions resonance, emotion, or ship energy thresholds, treat affection progress as part of the artifact build. Raise Hime Bonds / Cumpanions to the mentioned threshold, then re-test damage. Many “module dud” complaints are uncharged thresholds, not bad gacha luck.

Enhancement breakpoints

Enhance to the next visible breakpoint that changes a skill text or energy threshold, then go test in combat. Blind maxing one module while three slots are empty is a screenshot build, not a dock-clearing build. Use fragment mail to reach breakpoints on the carry first; park the rest.

If two modules fight for the same mat type, prefer the survival-family piece for your current planet walkthrough wall. Greed stats can wait until Template A is stable.

Storage and swapping

Before binding a module, read the lock text twice. Early launch excitement burns irreplaceable pieces onto temporary flex girls. Keep unbound spares until best teams seats stabilize for a week. When patch notes announce a rework, pause melts for forty-eight hours.

Quick reference before you enhance

Ask three questions: Is this the carry? Is this a breakpoint? Did I re-test after the last enhance? If any answer is no, stop tapping. Pair the pause with a bond checklist tick so energy thresholds catch up to the module you already own. Launch fragment mail disappears fastest when captains enhance without questions.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Can I swap artifacts freely?

Depends on bind rules — check the item tooltip before upgrading.

Should I craft or gacha artifacts?

Prefer guaranteed craft/farm paths first; spend 星鑽 only with a [currencies](/items/currencies/) plan.

Do duplicates matter?

Often for upgrades; keep copies of carry pieces.

Where to learn energy conversion?

Why is my new module weak?

Low affection / energy uptime is a common cause — raise [Hime Bonds](/guides/hime-bonds/) on the wearer.
